Australian Unity invests in Graham Technology

Australian Unity, the national health, financial services and retirement living organisation, has entered into a strategic enterprise license arrangement with Graham Technology, the contact centre software and CRM specialists.

Australian Unity will use Graham Technology's unique CRM and business process automation platform to enable new processes and workflows to be deployed on any technology channel while integrating directly to any back-end system. The business processes will be driven by Australian Unity's own business process reengineering programme, which will be 100% mirrored in the deployed applications and cover five different business units.

"We selected Graham Technology for a number of reasons that made them stand out. They have already proven the unique nature of their technology through its flexible and rapid delivery, and their equally unique culture has made them very easy to do business with. We have also gained great comfort from their blue chip reference clients in Australia, New Zealand and globally". - Frank O'Connor, Group Executive Business & Technology Services, Australian Unity.

Mr O'Connor added: "The Graham Technology solution provides us the capability to bring our CRM and Business Process Automation initiatives to life in an incremental fashion and allows me to deliver results quicklyto the business".

The concept has already been proven with a configurable campaign management application that was deployed in six weeks. The future will bring rapid incremental rollouts of new functionality, supporting Australian Unity's focus to deliver exceptional standards of service, and the best choice of products to their current and potential customer base. In addition to support from some of Graham Technology's experts, Australian Unity is also taking on a skills transfer programme.

Ross McGown, Managing Director of Graham Technology Asia Pacific, stated: "Australian Unity is a dynamic company that is business process-orientated and focused on customer service excellence. This makes it exactly the type of company we want to build a relationship with, as we know that we can help bring their customer-centric vision to life. This engagement also aids in the expansion of our Australian business, particularly in Melbourne, and we look forward to the possibility of announcing other wins in the near future".
